The road blockade started in the morning under the stewardship of the JAC constituted against the brutal murder.

On the other hand, a large number of people came out and blocked both lanes of the highway between Kakwa and Thongju Boroi Makhong.

The JAC has already put forward a number of demands to the Chief Minister yesterday including a CBI enquiry.

Later in the afternoon, police succeeded in dispersing the crowd who were enforcing the blockade.

However, only one lane of the highway was blocked till evening under a mutual understanding between the police and the JAC members.
