Black-topping

IMPHAL, May 17: Lack of quality control has resulted in wearing out of the newly black-topped road stretch commonly known as Konjeng Hazari Leikai Dhobi Machu Leirak within a few days of completing the work, local residents have lamented.

However, instead of maintaining the quality of the work, the said contractor just spread over some stone chips and red earth thinly and carried out black-topping.
